It’s a universal truth that Indians are obsessed with fairer skin. So in order to cash upon this craze, Hindustan Unilever has found out a new way to market its Vaseline Men cream here in India. The company has created Facebook application to make your profile or any other pictures fairer. So I decided to try this app by using the cream virtually on my picture. As usual I allowed the app to access my Facebook account. (warning: My pic found in screen shots below) 
The Vaseline Men App screen appears up in front. Upload a new picture or select the profile display pic. An outline mask appears around the face in order to specify where the cream has to be applied virtually.
You can re-size the mask according to your wish and click on next. The next contains the most important step that’s the cream applying section. When you near the face with mouse pointer you can see it changing into a cream icon. Click and apply the cream virtually and see the difference.
There is an option of lightening your skin also. When done click on next to see yourself more fair than before (to be frank I didn’t see any changes). At last this app allows you to save your not so real picture to profile or create an avatar using that pic and post it in profile of yours.
